I Was Just Thinking

I was just thinking that another year has gone by (again) and it's already time for the Annual Meeting. I know I always look forward to going to the meeting and finding out new things, meeting people I know as well as those I don't, and looking at all the stuff for sale. This year I am especially looking forward to the information from William Motz. I am hoping to gain information we can put to good use in our own syrup business.

The Fall Tour was just great! It is fun to see how others make their operations work, and that was just the thing we needed this year. Fred and I are moving out of the rustic old sugarhouse and putting our equipment in a large barn closer to the house. We will miss the building the family has used for some 60-70 years but I look forward to modern conveniences too. We will use some of the ideas we got while on tour this fall.
If you have anything about syrup or anything related to it that you would like to put in a letter to the editor I would be glad to put it in print. It is a good way to get input from the membership on any variety of subjects that concern you.
