Pre-Annual Board Meeting - January 21, 2000

The meeting was opened at 7:25 PM by Board President John Anton. Present were Board members Anton, Arnold, Besteman, Douglass, Haigh, Maday, Youdes, Vissers, and Newsletter Editor Cathi Bates. Excused was Board member Kistler.

The new MMSA video was previewed and the agenda for the Annual Meeting was reviewed.

The promotion committee also presented the final bills for the video, which were approved by the Board.

Craig Arnold presented the status of the 25th Fall Tour which will be held on September 23, 2000.

The following statement concerning Fall Tours was adopted by the Board as policy:

"As Fall Tours are meant to be educational, informational and fun, active vendor sales and displays are not to be part of the Fall Tour. An obvious exception to this will be the sale of MMSA items."

The policy was moved by Arnold, supported by Youdes and passed unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 9:07 PM.
