MMSA Board Meeting -Jan 19, 2001

President Larry Haigh called the meeting to order at 7:15 P.M. All Board members were present.

The agenda for the Annual Meeting was reviewed and two adjustments were made: the addition of Dr. Keathly to the persons to be introduced from MSU Extension and the deletion of Select Michigan portion of the Guest Speakers.

The new web site was reviewed by Roger VandeBunte. Roger asked for the help of each Board member to finish the site by the 2001 production season. He suggested each Board member review/develop a section of the site.

The materials in the registration packet were reviewed.

There was a discussion of a "truth in advertising" issue concerning an ad in the Newsletter. By consensus it was agreed that unless an ad was truthful in all that it said it would not be allowed in the Newsletter.

The layout of the vendor area was reviewed.

Larry Haigh adjourned the meeting at 8:55 P.M.
