Floyd Moore

Each year the MMSA Directors choose a person that has made great contributions to the association over the years and awards them a Lifetime Membership as Honorary Member. The 2004 recipient was Floyd Moore and he was honored at the 2005 Winter Meeting.

Floyd was recognized for his service as MMSA’s First President and Charter Member, Director of the National Maple Syrup Council in the mid 1960’s, and the introduction of tubing and vacuum systems in Michigan.
